I loved the writer’s honesty. And how she gives the readers a glimpse into her life. The stories were both happy and sad. I found myself wiping tears from my eyes, because as females, so many of us have been through similar situations in our lives, but we managed to rise above them.

My Prerogative: Release & Fly is straight up, a breath of fresh air! Seriously refreshing! It’s raw, like some of my favorites - David Goggins & Lisa Nichols. I’m not going to lie, It took me to some places. Reflecting my past, and reevaluating my future.

This book gives a deep dive into how the writes uses self-reflection, self-assurance to write what she described as love letters to herself. These letters explained her heartbreaks, friendships and pure openness of her journey towards many challenges she experienced.

Beating the odds , and breaking barriers while inspiring others on becoming a better version of themselves. This is a must read, I hope you’re inspired as i am. Just wish it was longer.

Keturah pens her thoughts authentically. You feel like you're having brunch with your big sister, best friend or favorite auntie. The author floats from topic to topic conversationally, never dwelling in a single one too long. I did find myself wanting to know more as I continued to read.

Experiencing Hamiltons short was poetic. She seems to really reflect on her life and how it’s shaped the person she is today. Having that experience may help guide someone who might be going through the same. This book teaches life lessons in a fun, easygoing way and states you into the direction of self discovery.

This book is one for the soul! You can tell that the words come from a really personal place. It has the feel of diary entries that are written very poetically and with intention. There is humor and grittiness and honesty. I am hoping for more work from this author.

I sought out books on self-improvement and stumbled upon this treasure. My Prerogative takes you on a positive journey through someone else's perspective of life and the rewards of its journey. It's an honest testimony of how we all can face the same obstacles in life and how we can always rise above with love, honesty, affection, and self-worth. My only complaint is it's such a short read. I wish more was revealed. I'm sure what the author has said, she's said plenty.

What a wonderful collection of poems, short stories and anecdotes. I read this in one sitting… it was that good. It is definitely something I will refer back to often. It’s inspirational & uplifting. It’s funny & deep. It’s pensive & explorative. It’s compassionate & spiritual. I recommend you buy two copies, so you can give one to a friend!

You are compelled to face the man or woman in the mirror and question your own moral superiority complex.

I ordered three copies, two for my aunties, and one for myself. This book is definitely empowering women. As a male, it brought back memories of my first crush and the regrets of just not understanding relationships. I love that it was an easy read.
